Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said it. Someone had to say it. He said it. I'm glad it has been said.

So Sean Duffy was at Newark International Airport talking about the 31 million people who were going to be traveling by air this holiday season.

That's a lot of people, supposedly a record number of flyers.

And what he said is something I hope people internalize because if you look around at the way people

dress and comport themselves at the airport, you are dealing with a bunch of slabs. I am not a big

believer in dressing fancy for a flight, but I do like to dress with a little bit of style.

Now, when I fly, I'm usually in a beanie because I like to pull it over my eyes, but I'm also in a very decent looking Aviator Nation sweatsuit.

Everything is matching. Everything is color coordinated.

I do not wear pajamas.

I do not wear slippers.

Secretary Duffy took a particular umbrage with people in pajamas and slippers at the airport

because it just says to the world, I don't care enough about you to take care of myself.

And if I don't care about myself, that means I also don't care whether or not I smell or look super gross.
