So I, I, about a week ago, I think it was a week and a day ago now, last Thursday, the Patriots went

over 10 in a goal line setting at the end of training camp, Mac Jones was six of those reps and I said,

boy, oh boy, like what the hell's going on with this?

The offense stinks.

I think the defense might even be worse.

Now the crappy defense is stopping what I didn't think was going to be a very good offense.

It's caused for panic.

And a lot of people said, oh, calm down, hyperbole, chicken little, all this stuff.

Since then, since then, Greg Bedard has called a practice an abject disaster.

Mike Reese has been about as critical as he'll be, saying there's a bunch of plays that have no chance,

which again, sounds mild, but for Reese, that's throwing

haymakers, right? Tom Curran is wondering aloud whether or not it's time to scrap the

offense. And Phil Perry, who's just talking about it today with Hardy, I heard them talking about

this driving in. Phil Perry says it's time to monitor the players buy-in. It's August 5th.
