What's up everybody? Welcome to Black Girl Gone After Thoughts. I am your host Amara and I am here with my husband and my co-host Jason. What's going on y'all? So we're back this week with a episode of

afterthoughts. It's off day and before we get into this week this

afterthought I just want to preface it by saying that there will be a regular episode this week, but it will be out tomorrow, which is Tuesday.

So the day after this episode airs, there will be a regular episode. I just wanted to start off by saying this since we're releasing this on and off day which is a Monday which is usually our regular episode day. So I just wanted to say that before we get into the story.

One thing that I want to mention, and I know probably a lot of the listeners

caught it during the episode, but I always want to go ahead and give you I can't say

praise but you know I want to give you just I guess you have flowers because people reach out to you, her

sister reached out to you and I think it's so amazing. This is something that you guys

know and I'll let you in.

This is a Mars kind of baby, I guess you could say.

So if somebody reached out to her and tell her like,

I want you to tell my family story my mother story aunt sister

they reach out to her and sometimes her being a mother and a wife and her doing all

the things that she's she's doing she doesn't tell me till sometimes it's in the middle of the week or, you know, what's going on.

And I always think it's so amazing that people believe in this platform and trust you just to give them the opportunity to lift their

family member up or tell a story about what happened because they want it out there and they couldn't
