Paul Mittermeier, great guy, but he had a prosthetic leg.

And he never hit the fat. I mean, rock shorts and all that kind of thing. But the thing about him was at that time... Do you know how he lost his leg? I believe it was a car accident. I believe it. I never asked him directly, but if I remember correctly, I heard him talking about it. I don't know that he ever really brought that part up.

He didn't, and we didn't, because, look, if you don't want to tell us, I'm not going to pry, right? But I mean, it was that, but he was very handy with the prosthetic leg. So at that time, any kind of sports and or rock station was all about working with the local strip clubs, right? I was across the country so we constantly had strippers

i want to say the first day i met you ted we had strippers coming yeah so they're always sending

the strippers up you interview them or whatever it is you're going to do but it didn't always mean

they were attractive right so based on where our studio was people would drive by and you couldn't

really see in the window you couldn't physically see us because we're up on the second floor, but you can see the light in the window. So what Paul would do, if the strippers that were there were maybe not the most attractive ones, he'd pull his leg off and set it up in the windowsill, right? So people driving by, they send us emails like, we saw the leg, we know the ugly.

We're like, yeah, that was our code. That was it. If they drove by and did not see his leg in the window, then I knew, all right, we got some good-looking chicks in here. That was this thing. He was just like, hey, man, I'm going to start doing this. And I thought he was joking. and there's maybe three weeks of the stuff.

But we, I don't know how these women got a job

in the strip room, but I remember three of them walked in.

And Paul doesn't say anything. You just see, he lifts his leg, pulls it off. It sticks it up in the window. It's like, damn, man. Well, it's in a charity indoor soccer game, and he was a goalie, and I whiffed on two balls with a one-legged goalie.

Yeah, we got to stop by one-legged goalie.

Did not score. I mean one-legged goal. Yeah. Now, as far as prosthetics go, a prosthetic limb or appendage like an arm, leg, hand, or foot, finger or toe are all available. Also, an eye and a glass eye. You can also get a breast or nipple

prosthesis that you wear in your bra. You wear it on the outside. There is one of my wife's

best friends. She recently, I don't remember exactly what was going on with her boobs, probably

cancer. I just don't remember, but she had her nipples removed for God's sakes, right? So, and I want to say she with her boobs probably cancer i just don't remember but she had her nipples removed

for god's sakes right so and i want to say she kept her boobs but the nipples are gone or something like

that but she was debating that's probably two years ago my wife goes hey uh i'll show

keep her nameless but so-and-so is thinking about getting uh tattoo of nipples just aesthetically. So when she looks, it's not so jarring to her and her husband, et cetera, et cetera. And I said, well, wait a minute. So I got on the phone with this friend and I said, look, I love tattoos, all right? And you don't have a tattoo in your body and now you're considering a tattoo. If you're going to tattoo nipples, can you not make them standard nipples? Okay, this is your opportunity. I'm like, you could do the Nike swoosh. You could do like the smiley face. Anything. And I'm like, why not? I don't believe she did, but at the time I talked to her, she was like, it's not actually the worst idea. I mean, like, they're not real nipples.

I'm going to do anything I want, you know.
