Today, the controversy over America's number one high school, Thomas Jefferson High School

Such an interesting story this week on Full Measure My TV Show Sunday April 16th, it

encompasses several important controversies today, controversies over our educational system,

controversies over race and racist overtones.

It surrounds a Fairfax County Virginia High School that is consistently ranked number

one in the US, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.

By way of background, about 8% of students in the entire county of Fairfax where the school

is were black, but only about 2% of students at TJ were black.

So black students underrepresented at Thomas Jefferson, not because of any conspiracy against

blacks, but they were not able to pass the merit-based entrance exam at an 8% race reflective
