If you feel like some of the media reporting on the war between Israel and the Islamic

extremist terrorist group Hamas is leaving out context you need to understand what's really going

on, this podcast is for you. We'll hear from Ilya Benjamin, Deputy Ambassador of Israel in the

United States. Can you start by telling us what role do you see the United States playing

so far in this conflict and as we look ahead to the next week? So from day one, the United States

played a hero in this war. The support that it's been giving Israel and the backing it's given

Israel from the present and down and across the board, both with the need and illustration

and on the hill, has been phenomenal. Without the backing of the United States, Israel would have

been in a different place and it would be in different place. And we may have had we saw the

visit of a president just yesterday in Israel for a few hours. The first time in America and

president came to Israel at a time of war goes a very wrong way and think the entire world is

looking at the United States as well as leaders in this conflict, in this war against Hamas.

In the very simplest of terms, can you tell us what happened and what started this that I'm

talking about more bullet points than the big explanation? So we're going to go into the long

deep history of the Israeli Palestinian conflict because this is nearly irrelevant. We're talking
