Center News, Niger is a coup hit West Africa, part of a coup hit West Africa, but the regional leaders

that would be ECOWAS have decided to accept Nijer and the Hunter Nijer, and the Huna is promising a fast return to democracy.

The details here are peculiar.

Nijer is a country seen as an anchor for counterterrorism by the

United States and France and others. I believe the U.S. still has a deployment there

contractors and military personnel, for the drones that are used in the battling against the jihadists of West Africa.

And yet, West Africa and heads of state on Sunday these hours passed officially

recognized the junta empowered Niger but said their sanctions to reverse the

July coup in the country would remain even as they initiate

steps for a short period of transition to civilian rule. There are the sanctions

again Gregory it seems to be necessary for diplomats to mention the sanctions

when they're talking tough.

And yet this looks like Nizhaire's coup is a success.
