Hello friends, I am so glad you're back with me for the morning mindset.

We are here to get our minds aligned with the truth of God's Word for today.

That's the scriptures.

That's the Bible.

We're digging into this ancient set of documents to understand what Jesus Christ said to us when

he was walking on the planet.

We're doing that by looking at the Gospel of John chapter 12 today.

So if you have a Bible, please get it out and look at these passages with me.

I'm a pastor and Bible teacher, and I'm excited for you to learn more about Jesus along

with us today, because we all have something to learn.

Let's look at John 12 verses 42 and 43.

It's just told us that many people did not believe in Jesus, even though he was doing

all kinds of miraculous works.

Now here in verse 42, it tells us about a little bit of a different scenario.

It says nevertheless, many, even of the authorities, believed in him, but for fear of the Pharisees,

they did not confess it so that they would not be put out of the synagogue for they loved

the glory that comes from man more than the glory that comes from God.

Now we have a very interesting situation here, because it's using this word believe,

the authorities believed in him is what it says.
