This is America first and here's your host, Dr. Sebastian Gorka.

0:15.0

We're going to be negotiations between the Taliban and the Afghan National Security Forces and the Afghan government that didn't come to fruition.

0:32.0

So the question now is where do they go from here? That the jury is still out. But the likelihood there's going to be the Taliban overrunning everything and owning the whole country is highly unlikely.

0:46.0

That will be a clip that will haunt the man who wears the title of President for the rest of his days. A very somber day for us, a very somber day for all Americans who believe that our word should be our bond and that the world is a safer place when America is strong.

1:06.0

That is not the case today. We are going to analyze everything we know so far, given the events occurring in the last 24 hours in Kabul, all over Afghanistan, with a good friend of this show, a former adviser to candidate Trump, a man who knows more about the Middle East and G-Hard than most people have ever forgotten.

1:28.0

He is a good friend of mine. He is the author of a seminal work called Future G-Hard Professor, Walid Ferris. Welcome back to America first.

1:38.0

Thank you, Professor, for this invitation. And thank you for a great work to help public opinion understand all matters on national security and foreign policy. Thank you.

1:47.0

You are too kind. Let me start with an assessment that I have shared since we opened the show today that is a bleak one and it goes as follows. You can look at the last six months, the last seven months as a Obama 3.0 if you will.

2:05.0

And as such, we analyze the eight years of the Obama administration's foreign policy. We saw a precipitous foreign policy in Syria, in Libya, in elsewhere with drool of troops far too early in Iraq that led, literally led to the rise of ISIS.

2:21.0

The same is happening now in Afghanistan, but it could be even worse. Why? Professor Fattis, because of course, Afghanistan is where Al Qaeda engineered the deadliest terror attack in modern times that that of September the 11th.

2:35.0

Is this hyperbole or could the fall of Afghanistan so rapidly be even more consequential than the fall of Iraq under Obama?

2:45.0

Professor, you and I have discussed it just a few months ago that any wrong move in Afghanistan, which is in a broad withdrawal without making sure that the Taliban are disarmed is going to be and is now a catastrophe.

3:02.0

If full catastrophe in 2014, as you recall, I published a book, The Lost Spring, trying to avoid future catastrophe of US foreign policy. That was under Obama, as you just mentioned. Now we're having it.

3:16.0

This is the catastrophe of an administration that went to discussions and negotiations like for the last six months with the Taliban and were fooled by the Taliban.

3:29.0

And now the Taliban are actually in control of the country. So I associate my projection with yours is we are dealing with a real serious crisis in foreign policy.

3:42.0

And I don't know how the American people would be able to fix it before two things happen next year's elections and 2024 elections. That's the only way to change this foreign policy.

3:54.0

Let's look at the way not Americans will react. That'll come later. Let's look at the way our enemies and our friends are reacting right now.

4:04.0

Let's start with those who are our enemies, our adversaries and those who are fence cities such as Pakistan. So will you walk us through the countries?

4:14.0

How does Pakistan, how does Saudi Arabia, how do the fundamentalists, how does Iran look at the events of just the last 72 hours in Central Asia, Dr. Faris?

4:28.0

Professor, first of all, let's start with the enemies, the foes. This has been and is going to be a historic week for them. That's the return of the Taliban to power. I've been monitoring not just the worldwide channels, but social media.

4:45.0

You have from Hezbollah to Hamas to the Muslim brotherhood to all the supporters of the Taliban to Daesh ISIS across the world from Sahel in Africa to Central Asia to the shores of the Mediterranean, celebrating this as the one of the biggest victories for Jihad.

5:06.0

Taking back Afghanistan from the United States is to them the the apex of victories and you know anybody goes online and can see that.
