Free at last, free at last. Thank goodness. We are free at last. That's right. My people have

0:06.3

finally, after decades been set free from systemic oppression due to our race. You're probably

0:12.1

thinking, Lauren, what are you talking about? Well, I'm referring, of course, to the Supreme

0:17.1

Court's reason decision to strike down racist affirmative action policies and higher education

0:23.1

policies that specifically target and discriminate against Asians for, I guess, being too intelligent,

0:30.2

too successful academically. We have this from the Associated Press. It's written that the Supreme

1:27.6

simultaneously giving black and Latino applicants an artificial leg up. Affirmative action is a huge

1:34.8

injustice. It goes against the concept of meritocracy, something that colleges should be all about.

1:40.0

And so obviously, people are saying now that colleges will just find some other way to

1:45.0

disadvantage those darn Asian students, less campuses look to Asian. But hey, for now,

1:51.5

this is a win and I'm going to be taking it. And for people who are not familiar with the controversy
