Hi, this is against everyone with Connor Abib, a weekly podcast featuring my conversations with

countercultural figures and presenting complex, philosophical, spiritual, and political ideas in an

engaging and accessible way. This episode is all about what to leave behind from 2019 as we move into

2020, all the kind of bad political ideas and moves that we

had in the past decade as well as the past year.

And I see this episode as a kind of trinity, part of a trinity of episodes, including my recent appearance on the Duncan

Trussell family hour talking to Duncan Trussell, who you may know he's been on the show twice,

but also I've been on his show a bunch of times, and he really is sort of the reason why I make

podcasts. He's very important figure to me in podcasting anyway. On the recent episode of the show

that I did, we talked about a lot of the anxieties in the world right now and how people

are managing and mismanaging them. And we also talk about the dead, why the dead are so important

in our lives. And we did that because Duncan's spiritual teacher, Ram Dass, recently died,

and we did a ritual to bring Duncan in contact with Ram Dass, and that really did happen

on the show. You can listen to it. It's pretty great. So that's the first one, and then this one,

which is coming out today, obviously, because you're listening to it.

And then the other episode in this sort of Trinity of podcasts that I'm pushing forward as what to do in 2020 and how to view it is the upcoming episode of Rune Soup with Gordon White.

Gordon, as you may know, has been on this show. I've been on

his show a bunch of times. He's the author of the Chaos Protocols and Starships and a bunch of

other works and another book, but also a bunch of blog posts and so forth. And he really writes

about magic and the occult. And he's really sort of high-minded

and able to communicate these high-minded ideas like I hope I am in an accessible way,

really pushing culture forward as far as magic goes. On his show, we talk about what we need to do, what's needed for us as we move into 2020, specifically what we want to bring forward.
