Hi, this is against everyone with Connor Habib. Well, friends, I think probably a lot of you are

wondering what you should do in this moment, this moment of, yes, singular atrocity and fear

and frustration and exasperation, but also this moment in a collection of

moments, these mounting moments of all of that, of all that frustration. In the past few

episodes, I've been talking about ways in which esotericism and occultism can bring something new to our lives to be able to grapple with all that, but none of those episodes are quite as direct as this one with my guest, Lisa Romero. In times of obvious schisms between human beings and their structures, there can be a stirring up of opportunity that only the frenetic and urgent intensities schism times can reveal.

In these times, we can see that there have been many pathways available to us, but that we were stuck.

And now we can be there for each other and dissolve obstruction.

I've been saying that in the beginning of all these episodes, but probably you're like,

yeah, but how?

Even though I've gone through some of those things with Mitch Horwitz and Polar Lesko and Ari Torson,

I think, you know, we turn to some of our older tools,

well, older in the sense that we're used to using them in this era,

like psychoanalysis for personal development, or socialism for economic development,

or progressivism, for political development.

I think all those things have great value, but they only take us so far.

And one of the reasons why they only take us so far is because those are tools for a world

where this kind of stuff isn't happening in the same way.

They're artifacts in a way, and we need to come up with something new.

I will pose the question that Lenin posed, which is what is to be done,

and obviously the answer from that corner was a kind of revolution.

I think that there are different answers available to us to this

question, though, of what is to be done? So I work on answering that with Lisa in this episode.
