Well, friends, this is the second in a series of episodes on esoteric and occult Christianity.

And this episode is with spiritual teacher and writer Lisa

Romero. Lisa appeared on episode 68 to talk with me about an occult picture of sex and sexuality.

And that conversation was profound, but I'd say it doesn't even begin to touch the depths of this one,

not because that was a shallow episode by any means. It's great, and if you haven't listened to it,

please do. I mean, I don't think the kinds of things we talk about are readily available

in most podcasts about sexuality or sex for sure or books or whatever

for that matter but it is instead because this episode and the breadth of this episode

on how esoteric Christianity can unfold into the life of the world as well as our own lives

is so potent and creative and sometimes weird in the best way possible.

You know, I decided to do this series on esoteric Christianity because I know people are looking for

a sense of meaning and peace

and some practice and that you know religious tradition and ritual gives that to so many people

but also so many people have been wounded by religion and strayed from it and all that so

Christianity is something that's been, I'm saying really important, but that's kind of an understatement in my life.

But it's something that I chose.

It wasn't something that I was raised in.

And that freedom has given me so much and allowed me to really engage with it in a way that is just, well, free.

One of the things that I've noticed when people are trying to re-engage with the spiritual is that a lot of people find magic and before I say what I'm going to say

I want to express that magic really is something that's on some individuals true spiritual path

to engage with it to do it and to don't know, to explore it and to approach
