Hi, this is against everyone with Connor Abeeb, a podcast featuring my conversations with

countercultural figures and presenting complex, philosophical, spiritual, and political ideas in an

engaging and accessible way. Well, friends, since the beginning of the year, I've been doing a

series on how to live in 2022. Obviously, I don't really know how you should live

or how anybody should live,

but I think that the conversations I've had so far

with Mitch Horowitz and Zena Hits and Jessica Dore and Dean Spade,

as well as the solo episode I did on Reincarnation, I think that those all

bring food for thought and seeds for contemplation on how to approach this year because of

everything that's going on. And just to talk about that everything that's going on a little bit,

it's always interesting to me that the world and all its problems can seem absolutely pressing, urgent,

and like just swirling around you, and sometimes they are, of course.

But in spite of all that, we still are constantly, and I think rightly,

concerned with the people we love, the people we want to love, the people we want to be in

relationships with, the people we want to have sex with, the people we like, hot people. That

just doesn't go away, under dress. Sometimes I think I can

imagine people being sort of huddled and scared about world circumstances and still talking about

people that they're attracted to and what they hope happens in their relationship and the problems are trying to resolve with somebody.

And that's why I think it's so important to not ignore that aspect of our lives when we're talking about how to approach a year, how to approach the world.

I think it's big and remains big and will always be big.
