in an engaging and accessible way. Well, friends, before I start this episode with Svetschko Horvatt,

I want to talk about three conundrums that hopefully I go on to

solve in collaboration or give a glimpse of an answer to in collaboration with Svetko Horvatt,

the philosopher, author, activist.

So the three conundrums, one is about morality, who are about the philosopher, author, activist.

So the three conundrums, one is about morality and time,

one is about the phantom nature of social forces,

and one is about the problem of space.

And I'm going to give really sort of on-the-ground examples for these, so you can understand what I'm talking about and I'm not just going into theory jargon.

The first, which I said is about morality and time, I'm going to start by telling a story.

Right after Trump was elected, in fact, I think that night, or maybe the night after,

I went with my friend Joanne McNeil, who's been on the show.

She's an internet scholar, historian, and cultural critic.

She and I went to go see Rebecca Solnett, the author, speak in L.A.

And Rebecca, we thought Rebecca Solnoy was going to talk about maps, but actually because of the

election, she ended up talking mostly about Trump and Hillary Clinton. And, of course,

the audience questions were these kinds of timid, frightened questions about the future. And

one of the things that Rebecca Solman said, she just said, you know, if we don't participate

in this climate agreement, it's over. It's game over.

She said something, at least equally declarative to that. And, you know, with due respect,
