Hello, friends. Today is Michael Moss, the celebration of the Archangel Michael

Michael, also known as St. Michael. And I wanted to do an episode where I talked about the

importance of this day in light of the events and challenges facing

us right now.

You might be asking, why should we care about this spiritual figure, typically seen

associated with the color red, with fire, sometimes slaying a dragon, bearing an iron sword,

or sometimes a spear, whose name is the

countenance of God and who Joan of Arc said appeared to her. I'll put some images of him in the show

images of him. Why should this being, of all things, matter in the face of all that's happening?

Fascism, extreme weather, social discord, compromise democracies,

identity-based feuds, duplicity in politics, unrest in our culture, the overwhelming

economic collapse, at the same time as the overwhelming economic dominance.

Why would I turn to something like the Archangel Michael right now?

How could this lead us to what is needed?

And what is needed, I think, right now are three things

that relate to the countenance of this spiritual being and his images, which is inner warmth,

connectivity, and letting go of materialism. I'm going to talk about those in a little bit.

First, though, let me turn to what he is, what I mean when I say there's an archangel

Michael at all.
