Hello and welcome to the AEW Forbidden Door 2025 review.

I'm Michael Abbott, from What Culture.

I'm joined by our brilliant producer, Adam Nicholas from What Culture,

and we are here to discuss everything that went down at AWX, New Japan Pro Wrestling,

sort of, Forbidden Door 2025, live from the O2,

our old friend, the Millennium Dome, as I

live and breathe, 25 years after Tony Blair and the Queen did that on New Year's Eve.

It was one of the more, I guess, AW-centric versions of Forbidden Door this year.

The build notably scaled back the New Japan involvement, but because it was

based in the UK this year, in the place of All In, which would typically take place at Wembley.

My general sense and finger on the pulse was that people were fine with that. It's been nice to get a

proper AW pay-per-view. There were some special guests from New Japan that in some cases figured

in a pretty big way, and we will certainly get to that in the review. But yes, it was certainly more of an AW-Fee-W-feeling pay-per-view than an AW-New Japan crossover which we've had the previous years. We're also joined today by our live chat on YouTube.
