What's going on guys? It is a Monday afternoon. I am the solubonster here with you the day after

forbidden door. Last night was Swerve Strickland's first title defense in the main event on pay-per-view against the man who

honestly feels like the heir apparent in this company. This is the guy that they are

going to anoint at some point in the not too distant future he is going to be the guy.

And Will Osprey has felt that way since day one when he signed that full-time contract that he came into the company.

It may not happen this year at Wembley.

In fact, it looks unlikely that that is going to happen at Wembley Stadium this year,

but Osprey is a future world champion in this company.

I think everybody understands that.

Everybody agrees with that.

Swerve Strickland needed this win last night.

He needed this win a hell of a lot more than Will Osprey did. Yeah, he won the title back in April.

His first pay-per-view title defense came not in the main event, but it came at Double or Nothing

against Christian Cage. And I love Christian Cage and I thought

they had a very good match but it wasn't the main event it wasn't what that event was built around.

So Swerve needed a match like this where it was all about him. The focus was on him and

Will Osprey as the main event on this show. And this was the victory that he needed over a man who has been

unbeatable since day one this was the unbeatable will offspring this man has been

undefeated since signing a full-time deal with aew, he came into the company he's been riding a wave of momentum.

This is the man who beat Brian Dangelson.

This is the man who won the international title.

This is the man who up until this point has won every single match that he has had.
