AEW was a three hour block of content tonight. You'll notice it is not yet 11 o'clock.

I was not watching all three hours because I didn't want to watch Rampage and you can't force me to no matter how hard you try but I did watch

dynamite and the first few minutes a rampage because the angle carried over into hour

number three so I had no choice but they were in Canada tonight they were in

Winnipeg and Winnipeg just so happens to be the hometown of one Kenny omega we have not

seen Kenny omega on aEW Television since December.

Unfortunately, Diverticulitis took him down.

Diverticulitis almost took his life.

Diverticitis is nothing to mess around with.

So we have not seen Kenny in many months. It was good to see him tonight. That was the big show closing angle, the big follow-up to the elite and Jack Perry beating up Tony Kahn at the end of last week's show. Tony Khan getting a spike pile driver ending up in a neck brace. We saw him at the NFL draft. We saw him on the NFL network. He made big headlines last week, said a lot of things.

You know for a guy who got dropped on his head and nearly had his neck broke and

walking around in a neck brace he had a big old smile on his face.

Everywhere he went, every interview that Tony did,

he looked like the happiest man in the world.

I mean, if I got dropped on my head and had my neck almost fucking broken, I don't think I'd be in such a good mood.

I wish I could be as positive as Tony Khan.

Tony Khan was actually on the show tonight, although he was not there with them in Canada, but we did get a brief

cameo from him at the beginning. But the big angle tonight was Kenny Omega coming out to address

the audience and in the end exactly as we talked about last week

Exactly as I pitched on the show last week

It could only go one way if you want to put heat on the elite if the singular goal here is to put heat on Jack Perry and the young bucks.
