Tonight, Mark, the first time that weekly Saturday Night Wrestling has aired on the Turner

Networks in nearly two decades.

Tonight was the debut episode of AEW Collision.

We have not had a weekly Saturday Night Wrestling television show in a very long time.

We've had specials, but never a weekly television show.

And between the music and the graphics, and even down to the ring ropes, even down to

having red ropes as opposed to red, white, and blue like we have on Wednesdays, the talent

that we had on this show with CM Punk, and on Drottie L. Edelow and Miro, people we have

not seen for a very long time.

And the new commentary team, all of these things put together.

I thought that AEW did a very good job of trying to differentiate collision from what we

see and hear on Dynamite every Wednesday night, and that was very important for them to

do.

Because one of the things I was hoping for and one of the things that I was talking about

quite a bit, heading into this new show, what would they do to differentiate collision

from Dynamite instead of it just being like a secondary edition of Dynamite, which is

kind of what Rampage feels like in all honesty.

I mean, Rampage, clearly nobody looks at Rampage as being any sort of priority.

So it would be incumbent upon Tony Khan if he wants this show to be a success, to do something

to make this show a priority.

Well, the biggest thing that he did was to bring back CM Punk, and that's why CM Punk

is back, because Tony Khan wanted CM Punk for this show.
