Today is Thanksgiving in the United States, a time when families all around the country gather

together to celebrate in time-honored fashion. Traditionally, those celebrations have revolved around a huge turkey dinner

followed by a televised football game but in recent years another kind of

coming together has been steadily growing in importance not just for individual families, but also increasingly

for the US economy as a whole.
