And now the low welcome to the low post podcast on a Tuesday afternoon where the NBA in conjunction

with the players association just released a slew a veritable slew of adjustments to the

leagues, COVID protocols and what a depressing sentence that is to try to keep the NBA season

from a pause and to help us digest all of that and whatever the hell is going on in Brooklyn

I definitely don't know everything or feel like I know anything these days, but I'm great

So let's review the highlights of the changed protocols.

Number one, players have to stay in their hotel rooms on the road.

No more restaurants, no more hotel guests, whatever that meant for each individual player.

No more dinners with their teammates for at least two weeks at home.

They essentially have to stay in their house except for practices, essentials, team meetings,

any household employee like a nanny or a housekeeper is going to have to undergo testing.

Family members are still just recommended, I believe, to undergo testing, although the

league will make that teams will make that available to players.

These are intended to last for two weeks and in addition to that, there's all sorts of

mask wearing, don't hug, don't fist bump or elbow bump, whatever, whatever the heck it

is, which people laughed at and before I go to you on what to look for, yes, all of this

is to prevent the spread of the virus.

Obviously, that's true.
