Hey everybody, we're up now. We're here and today we've got a couple of updates on Tesla

in China, including additional discounting that Tesla has added. We also got a request

from Tesla to the FCC for a confidentiality extension. We've got the Tesla Design Studio

opening up in Thailand to look at that and a couple other items as well.

Taking out the stock to start things off, Tesla down 3%, 3.2% on the day-to-day, closing

up $174.4. Decent under performance, the NASDAQ down just half a percent, I think probably

relating to the discounting that we'll talk about here in a second. Before we get into that,

we did have some form fours that were filed this evening. Nothing Elon related, so we

had three of them. They were from Drew, Zach, and then Tesla's chief accounting officer.

Normal options, vesting activities, so nothing really to discuss further with that pretty

standard business stuff going on there. We'll get into the Tesla China discount that

report here on Waxen, Waxen, not sure exactly how that is pronounced, but Tesla on December

7th today has launched new round of price reduction plans, which will take place from

December 7th through December 31st. The specific plan is to directly reduce 6,000 RMB when

picking up an existing car in inventory. This will go on top of the insurance discounts

that we had previously discussed. As a reminder, those ran from November 8th. There was an

8,000 RMB discount up until November 30th. It does sound like Tesla had extended that

slightly through December 10th, and it sounds like part of the reason for that may have

been related to difficulty delivering vehicles that would have been expected to be delivered

within that window due to some of the COVID lockdowns that had happened. Like we had talked

about, that was also a possibility with the insurance data that we got earlier this week.

Maybe some of that has affected the number of cars that Tesla was able to have show up

...
