It'll be great to have Denton back on the show. Charch will make his first appearance,

the first of 17 or 18 appearances to talk fantasy football at 11, and then Ben will jump on with me at noon.

I guess a quick warning to those of you triggered by contract detail talk.

This is your warning to turn down the volume, because I certainly don't want to offend anybody.

For the many of you, though, that love contract talk so much so that you asked me, advised me,

publicly admonished me on social media, begging me to apologize for being so wrong about the Terry deal when the agent put out some of the numbers on Monday.

I'm not going to pile on. I'm not. We all make a lot of mistakes. I make plenty of them.

But now that the real information on Terry's deal is out there, the deal's a very good one for the team. They may have

budged a bit, but it wasn't a lot. Forty-four million guaranteed. I got to be honest with you,

I was even shocked to see it that low. I thought it would come in somewhere around 50.

You know, I said yesterday, anywhere between 55 and

60 guaranteed is kind of a draw. Anything north of 60 million guaranteed is kind of a big win for

Terry and his agent. And anything less than 55 million guaranteed is a big win for the team.

But essentially, it's 44 million guaranteed over two years since there isn't

guaranteed money in year three. There are a ton of incentives in the deal. The agent, they let the

agent have his day on Monday. But by the way, you know, Terry's going to put a minimum of $44 million

into his bank account, something the team did not have to offer

because he was under contract and entering his age 30 season. He should have taken it. I don't

think that they were thrilled. I think you'll hear that everybody's thrilled when we hear from

the general manager and Terry and the negotiations, it was a, the negotiations were never

nearly as contentious. I believe that the team basically gave him an ultimatum very recently.
