Summary

“To take the time to invest in ourselves, that's the lesson Adam learned in the pandemic.” In the second half, Adam Bridegan, Co-Founder of Made In, former CMO of Rhone, and Founder of Gaylord says that Covid was a blessing in disguise.

Covid made him think about what he wanted from life, and he even read Dale Carnegie’s “How to Start Living and Stop Worrying.” Implementing a strategy from the book called “stop-loss control” was a light bulb moment for him.

After leaving Rhone, Adam wanted to do things he was not making time for before. So, he went to North Carolina, where he grew up, and met friends he had not seen in years. He helped and gave free advice to entrepreneurs. Eventually, he realized that he wanted a change; he wanted to use his experience and expertise to help other entrepreneurs in their journey. This has turned into his latest endeavor, the formation of Gaylord.

He talks about:

* How Covid was a blessing
* His light bulb moment
* Lesson from pandemic
* What was he thinking
* How to see the positives of this experience
