I am inspired by how bold Paul is in front of these people.

I don't know if I've ever shared a testimony like that outside of a congregation of members.

We're very comfortable bearing our testimony, I think, in front of other believers,

but when it comes to someone who doesn't believe, that can be scary.

It says in the manual, when Paul delivered the powerful testimonies recorded in Acts 22 and 26,

he was being held prisoner by Roman soldiers.

The people he spoke to had the power to condemn him to death, yet he chose to boldly bear witness

of Jesus Christ and the heavenly vision he had received.

And then a couple of questions.

What inspires you about his words?

Consider the opportunity to share your testimony.

For example, do your friends know how you feel about Jesus Christ?

Or when was the last time you told your family how you gained your testimony of the gospel?

It goes to Joseph Smith in Joseph Smith history, talking about his own vision.

It was a fact that I had be held a vision.

I have thought since that I felt much like Paul, when he made his defense before King Agrippa

and related the account of the vision he had when he saw the light and heard the voice.

But still there were few who believed him.

Some said he was dishonest, others said he was mad, and he was ridiculed and reviled.

But all this did not destroy the reality of his vision.

He had seen a vision, he knew he had, and all the persecution under heaven could not make it
