At the women's floor final, three gymnasts each had a strong claim to the bronze medal.

Remaining gymnast Sabrina Voianna finished in fourth after being incorrectly deducted for going out of bounds.

But because her coaches didn't put in an inquiry to challenge the call, she couldn't get the score changed.

Her teammate Anna Barbossu was in third,

and it seemed like Jordan Child's, the last gymnast to go, was in fifth.

But then Jordan's coaches did what Sabrina's didn't. They put in an inquiry for a score and it got increased.

The court agreed and the results were changed.

Anna Barbossu was bumped to third, Jordan down to fifth, and Anna would now be getting the bronze medal.

U.S. and Romania wanted the gymnast to share the bronze medal,

So Jordan Chiles was stripped of her metal, not because she violated the rules, but because of a mistake made by the officials.
