I don't know about you, but I am so excited to hear what Rick shares today with part one of

a message called Accepting Responsibility.

If I were to ask you today, what's your greatest ability?

I wonder what some of you would say.

You might say, you know I'm good at mechanics I'm good with math some of you might say I'm good

at sewing or surfing or channel surfing but you say well I'm good at all of this but I want to suggest you this

morning that your greatest ability is responsibility you say huh yeah your greatest ability responsibility. You say, huh?

Yeah, your greatest ability is responsibility.

Responsibility is the ability to respond to life. It's one of the greatest gifts that God has given you.

God created you and made you a human being and what makes you a human is the

ability to choose your response to life. And so you can respond in many

different ways to stress, to problems, to crises, to opportunities, to

relationships, and it's all your choice.

A couple weeks ago we talked about how most of your life is out of your control.

You didn't choose where you were born and when you were born and all those different things.

And you don't choose a lot of the circumstances and events that happen to you.

But you do have the freedom to choose how you react to life. You do have the freedom to choose

how you respond and because you have that choice because you have the freedom to respond and you are able to respond. You are response able. You
