Really one of the main things that came up for me over the past week was acceptance.

But acceptance in a different way than I thought of acceptance before.

I'd read a book.

It was called The Book of Joy, which I recommend to everybody.

The Dalai Lama and the Archibishop Desmond Tutu.

And I don't know about you guys, but there are two people I think we should listen to.

Those two are definitely on that list somewhere.

And it talked about acceptance in a way that really tied into the whole F-Shame model that we use here, there's actually

literally a paragraph in the book. If anybody else has read or will read the book now, I wonder if

you'll be able to identify it. There's a short paragraph, three sentences, where they literally go

through honest exploration, radical acceptance, individualized transformation. And I'm like,

holy crap. I mean, they don't use

those exact term, but they literally describe the exact process we use here. And so I've said this before.

I'll say it on the front end of what we're going to do here today. Fuck shame is not just for us.
