We have a very simple goal with this program.

Complete knowledge of time and space. Sounds like a lot,

but we're not in a hurry, and we'll take it one step at a time. Today's question is, are there

aliens, you know, out there in space? I'm putting the qualifier out there because I'm not even going

to entertain the notion of there being aliens here on Earth. None of this mumbo-jumble

probed, touched by an alien, I was abducted, nonsense. Just drop that, folks folks that's not even a thing just ignore it

it's not real I'm only gonna talk about the possibility of there being life or

maybe even intelligent life way out there at some other star in the universe. Now, have you ever gotten in an accident, a car accident?

Most of us would probably say, yeah, maybe even a minor one, a fender bender, hitting a deer or something,

but some of us have even been in major car accidents. I've only ever been

in one major car accident. And of course, it was physics related. It was when I was living in

California as an undergraduate, my friends and I were in a class on general relativity and we had just gotten a massive homework

assignment that we just could not figure out. So we had spent hours working on this homework

as a study group at a friend's house and there was just one problem in particular that we just

couldn't crack at all.

We just couldn't figure it out, you know, six of us working on it, bashing our heads against it.
