with the guy I've talked about a lot, but let's put it a bow on his team situation for

2025 at least. That is one Aaron Rogers. He reported to Steelers minicamp, I guess last week,

and he signed. He has inked a contract with the Steelers.

It's one year for our purposes.

There may be extra years added for dummy years to avoid,

which is really a way to prorate the bonus over a longer time

to have a lower cap hit in the short term, take the pain later on.

Before we get to the Steelers, I've talked about this before, but just to put a bow

on his two-year era with New York Jets, the cap charges left over, $14 million in 2025, and a whopping,

whopping $34 million in 2026. Again, I don't mean to make fun of the Jets. I make fun of teams that I

think do things the wrong way. Again, the two-year experiment with Aaron Rogers, one year out

because of injury, one-year mixed results, they went all in. The fans were so excited.
