The Jets make it official.

Aaron Rogers will not return to the team in 2025.

I think it's a move that had to be made.

Well, the Jets made it official yesterday.

They put out a statement and said that Aaron Rogers is not returning to the team in 2025. Of course, this was originally reported on Super Bowl Sunday by

Jay Glazer, but the Jets have officially acknowledged it. There are so many angles to discuss

when we talk about this decision. And I'll start off by saying, I think this was a move the Jets

had to make. I think this was the right direction for the team. I think that this was the best

decision for all parties involved.

And that includes Rogers. And from the Jets standpoint, I think there are just a lot of different

angles for this. And I think like if you don't like one reason for the decision, there are a number

of others because I think all signs pointed to the Jets moving on from Rogers being the right move from

them. I mean, we can start by talking about the most tangible aspects of this. First of all,

is that Rogers is just nowhere near the quarterback he was in Green Bay. You know, he's better than

Zach Wilson. He's better than a lot of other Jets quarterbacks, but the bar cannot be that low.
