Thanks for being with us. Yesterday when I was hosting the show, we were reflecting on some of the things that happened in 2025.

And someone brought up that one of the big showdowns, the big people catapulted into the

national spotlight was the showdown between Laurel Libby and the main legislature, which

of course led to a bit of a showdown between Donald

Trump and Janet Mills. And joining us now to reflect on the year that was is Maine State

Representative Laurel Libby. Laurel, good to talk to you. Happy almost New Year. Happy New Year.

Thanks so much for having me on today. So it's been quite a year in the life and times of Laurel Libby.

I just have to say, like, when we reflect on the things that happened this year, I think that

one of the things that people might gloss over was how unbelievable and unprecedented it was for the main House of Representatives to strip away your

vote, your ability to vote on the behalf of your constituents, your ability to speak on the

house floor, all because you posted a picture on social media.

Yeah, it is really remarkable.

You know, here we are the new year about to begin 2026.
