Why are we excited about putting big goggle style computers on our faces?

To understand A16C's perspective, I think it's valuable to define terms.

I don't want to assume anyone in the room has played with every gadget like I have. So the big

buckets to think about in terms of the emerging computing paradigms we're going to be talking

about today are augmented reality, which lets you see the world differently, and virtual reality,

which lets you see a different differently, and virtual reality, which lets you see a different

world. The former gives you superpowers. You're never going to go to an event like this and meet

someone where you're pretty sure you've seen them before, but you don't remember their name.
