In case you guys didn't pick up on this from last week's premiere, this season might be a little depressing.

I know many of us are already depressed by our financial situation, so I'm sorry about that.

But also, something I'm realizing more and more is that a lot of things that keep us up at night aren't really our fault.

Though the product of a completely broken system that relies on bullshit hero narratives of personal responsibility,

that trick us into feeling like anyone can overcome structural obstacles if they just try hard enough.
