Today I've got a two for one proposition for you.

For the first half of our show, we've got an interview with Hairbrain Schemes Mitch

Gittleman where we talk about the past and future of Battle Tech and his own past and

future in the games industry.

And then in the second half, Austin and I are going to discuss our experiences with the

latest Battle Tech expansion, Heavy Metal, and talk about where we're at with that franchise

and light of my interview with Mitch.

But first, let's get to that interview.

Last month I attended Paradox Interactive's PDXCON 2019 in Berlin at Paradox's invitation

and at their expense for travel and lodging.

You may have already heard our interview with Paradox Design Director, Johan Andersen.

Mitch was also there promoting the Heavy Metal expansion for Battle Tech, but we had a

chance to discuss where he's at right now in a long career that has taken him from FASA

to Microsoft to Paradox and a lot of places in between.

Overall, where Battle Tech stands right now.

Yes, he has franchise and light game.

I would say that it's gotten our assurgees.

Which is really cool.

And look, the board game guys are here from Catalyst.

And they just started putting out all new Battle Tech stuff, new board games, new stuff.

There was a giant kickstarter for them too.
