Hi and welcome to the Orbbus Fly Fishing Guide podcast.

We have kind of a somber podcast this week.

Several of us here wanted to pay tribute to a very good friend and mentor of ours who passed away

just a few days ago, John Merwin, who was a wonderful writer and human being and

funny person and friend and mentor, just a number of us as I said.

So it's a little more touchy feeling,

a little more, a little more a little more touchy feely a little more a little less of the how do I

catch them and where do I go that we usually do in the podcast so I thought that

for those of you who don't care about the touchy feely stuff

I would do a longer flybox section. We got a lot of questions to answer this week

so hopefully this will satisfy your curiosity about your fishing technique and you'll also

enjoy the tribute to John Merwin. The first letter I'm going to read, this is an email, this is from Steve, and he says,

hey Tom, huge fan of the podcast, I just wanted to comment on the new music and professional announcer.

It kind of reminds me of the movie Wayne's World when Wayne and Garth sell out and I get the network deal with a professional announcer.

Are you selling out on this?

Of course not, Steve.

Just having a little fun, but I got to say I like the old music better.
