When the Holy Spirit brings new life, when salvation comes,

there will be an increase practice of righteousness in your life.

Righteousness is godliness. It's the pursuit of holiness.

There's no way you'll come to know the Lord Jesus Christ and still live like the devil.

Those days are over. Those days are gone. Those bridges have been burned behind you.

And there will be the increased practice of righteousness.

When God saves a sinner, He creates a new person.

The new birth brings new life.

It's interesting, though, that the more we grow in this new life,

as our practice of righteousness does increase,

the more we recognize the depth of our sin.

And that's a good thing.

In this session, we want to consider that the new birth is a transforming birth.

By that, we mean that the new birth will radically and dramatically change your life from the inside out.

There's no way that you can be born again without your life being significantly altered.

It's not just that your life has changed,

it's just that you have a new life all together.

The old things passed away, but whole new things have come.

It's been well said, if your religion has not changed your life,

you better change your religion.
