18 60s, railway travel was in the process of redefining a nation.

Britain was changing as cheap fisher travel spread out with a nation. Britain was changing as cheap if fish had travel spread out with a web of iron tracks,

connecting distant towns to the largest cities. The very notion of time and space had changed, and with this change came a growing fear.

There was a myriad of ways in which train travel was reported to be dangerous to once health

and in 1864 a new contender arose to terrified passengers, that of murder.
