The Vernal Equinox is almost here.

I can't believe it's almost here, but it is.

And I'm here in Western North Carolina visiting family and friends and many of the trees already

are in full bloom, the dogwoods and the false cherry trees, the spring peepers are a chorus of amphibian music in the middle of the night and it's so beautiful here.

And I'm feeling it. It was a strange winter. I can't believe that the

spring is already emerging. But I guess that's what happens when you travel so much.

And I also think maybe the strange feeling that I'm having about this spring relates

to a lot of these transits that are happening in the sky very much in alignment to these times, I suppose.

A day after the equinox we are going to experience a new moon in Aries.

So just for our clarification, the astrological year begins on the Vernal Equinox through the tropical

zodiac. The sun moves out of Pisces, crosses the Aries Point, and begins the cycle around the zodiac.

Again, the tropical zodiac, the seasonal zodiac, different than the cedereo of stars zodiac.

It's very interesting to me the way symbols look for signs and also planets.

And when you meditate on the symbol of areas, of course, yes, it looks like the rams, horns,

but it also looks like a sprout, a dicot coming out of the ground, birthing itself.
