0:22.4	talk about. Podcast 1206 on the Joe Rogan Experience was Mike Ward. Mike
0:29.1	Ward's conversation was very interesting. He's a Canadian comedian that was
0:34.7	sued for a joke that he made and his had to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars
0:39.1	in legal fees. So we get to hear all about that and what a great review it was. So

0:59.1	So yeah Mike Ward is a Canadian comedian and an unfortunate fellow in his
1:11.3	own right because he's had a battle against some lady and some family for
1:20.8	joking made about a disabled boy and really the job was fairly off the cuff. It
1:27.6	wasn't super malicious. It was kind of silly. You'll have to look up really
1:33.0	what the joke is but the essence of it was that some young disabled boy was
1:39.2	terminally ill in Canada and going on shows like just TV shows, American Idol,
1:47.1	that sort of thing and he was a good singer and then he got a record deal and
1:50.8	some other things and Mike Ward made the joke years later. Wow this guy's this
1:55.8	kid's success is fantastic but it wasn't he supposed to be dead already. Yeah it's
2:00.4	a cold joke it's a dog joke but there are some dark comedians out there. He's
2:05.1	certainly one of them. So because they don't have the same kind of free speech
2:11.4	that they have in America and Canada he got sent like a lawsuit that was
2:21.4	charging him $82,000 and he ended up paying I think $42,000 for it and it's
