I know I often say I'm very excited about today's guests, but I'm actually very excited

about today's guest because I often say in internet years, I'm Lethuselah. In podcast years,

today's guest is sort of a Lovecraftian figure. He's one of the old ones from the ancient times.

He's been doing econ talk, which is easily one of my favorite podcasts and has been for a very long time.

I got so much out of it diving into back episodes when I was working on my last book.

I included it in the acknowledgments of my book.

And one of the highlights of my entire career was being the favorite podcast on Econ Talk in 2018, I believe it was.

According to listener survey, Russ Roberts is now in Israel. He is the president of Sholem College. He is also besides Econ Talk and Shillem College,

he's a fellow at the Hoover Institution. His last book, which he was last on here to talk about a while ago, is wild problems, which I actually was just diving into the other day for various and sundry

reasons, and it's really a great book. So, Russ, welcome back to the remnant. Great to be back,
