Small business owners, this one is for YOU. The questions here stem from the BioGuard conference I spoke at a few months back and boy were they fire. If you're a small business and you're looking to grow locally then it's a no-brainer that you need to harness the huge amount of tools sitting in front of you. In this one we cover questions relating to where to get started with social media (hint, Facebook Ads and down and dirty customer data) and why you NEED to learn to build social strategies into your existing markets. Provide value and keep attention by adding to a conversation - not just jumping straight into “WE SELL THAT!” mode. Would love to know what you guys think about this one !!

Like, for our industry service is really big, and I know our owners have always worried how much content we put on social media so that we're not selling our stuff.

Like, what's going to happen is some entrepreneur is going to do it, who works for one of these companies, become the guy, and then get all the referral business to come through him.

And then he's holding, whoever has the end consumers attention has the leverage.

So, give it away.

I would absolutely give away milk to sell cows all day long, but people don't want to do that because they're used to selling milk.

And that's why the guy comes along and gives away the milk for free, kills all the other businesses.

And the problem for you is there's no cost of entry to giving away the information.
