Hello friend, I'm Marcy Ferrell from Thankful Homemaker, and I'm so glad to be with you today.

I've had a bit of a break from our time in the series on the sermon on the Mount.

I took a little break over the summer, but I am so thankful to pick it back up again.

This next section we're working through on the, it's going to be on the Lord's Prayer,

and we are now in Matthew chapter 6, verses 5 through 15.

It's a long one, and it's the one that I personally have always wanted to study through.

And let me tell you, from all that time off, it really took me a bit to discipline myself

to sit down and get to this episode.

I don't know what that was about, but, and also I think it's because the passage was long,

it was a bit overwhelming to me at first, and I was determining how to break it down and

what to do with it because it is so long, and I didn't want to break it down into two

episodes.

I really wanted to keep this into one, and then I just came back to how I've worked through

each episode in this series, one verse at a time.

So we're going to do that today, bear with me, it's long, you can take a pause, come back

to me, thankfully, usually those podcast apps hold on to where you left off.

And we are also going to learn so much about how to pray from these verses.
