sitting in for Brian today. For two of the three hospital systems where New York City nurses have been on strike,

one of the largest strikes nurses walkouts in the city's history, there's now a deal. Nurses at

Mount Sinai and Montefiore have voted to approve new three-year contracts ending the strike

in those systems. Those agreements include wage increases and new commitments

around staffing and safety, and they bring thousands of nurses back to work after weeks on the

picket line. But the strike is not over. Nurses at New York Presbyterian have reached a tentative

agreement, meaning the walkout continues at New York Presbyterian, had rejected, excuse me, I'm going

to take that all over again. The strike is not over because nurses at New York Presbyterian have

Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital, and Allen Hospital. So now the questions are why. Some nurses voted yes.

Others voted no. What exactly is in these contracts and whether New York Presbyterian nurses

can win a better deal or risk losing momentum as other nurses head back inside.

Joining us again is Nancy Hagan's president of the New York State Nurses Association and a working nurse who has been out on the pick-in line throughout the strike.
