Now, we've all heard about impressive lockdown projects,

but surely little can top this for sheer ambition.

Artist Stephen Skrinka has been building Scotland's first wall of death

using only volunteers and donations.

He wanted to do it after learning to ride one a few years ago. Well, I met up with him at a former Glasgow Shipyard, which is currently home to

this unique artwork, which he is called the Revelator. Every fairground had a wall of death simply put it's a giant whiskey barrel but with parallel sides

they came about just before the 1900s in America and it became very popular and so as it gathered momentum

became more and more popular all the fairgrounds sort of had one so along with

the waltzes and the gallopers you'd have a wall of death the riders got more and more proficient and as it became popular

popular it became kind of riskier because they had to work out a trick, a skill that maybe

the others hadn't learned.

So no hands.

They would put their legs over the handlebars.

They would stand on the side stand as the bikes going round on its own.

They would sit on the saddle with their arms and legs splayed out while the bites going round on its own.

Quite breathtaking and very, very brave and daring.
