A lot of that misinformation has come along with some legal

challenges to what they do, and there's a new report on their work. Joining us to talk about that

report, Dr. Michael New, visiting assistant professor of social research and political science at the

Catholic University of America, senior associate scholar at the Charlotte Lozier Institute, Paige Comstock

Yeah, thanks, that'd be. Much appreciated. What is a pregnancy help center?

Sure, pregnancy help center is a nonprofit organization that attempts to help pregnant women carry their pregnancies

at term.

They especially kind of reach out to women facing unintended pregnancies who, again,

do not wish to have an abortion, who like to carry their pregnancy a term.

And they offer a very wide range of resources.

They offer everything from counseling to health care.

Some of them have maternity homes. They have baby supplies. They have parenting classes. So they're really there to help these pregnant women in need, carry pregnancies to term, and be effective, successful parents later on.

What kind of disinformation have abortion advocates attempted to push against pregnancy help centers?

You know, abortion advocates claim that pregnancy help centers mislead and deceive women.

And I think that's pretty ironic because I think, you know, abortion facilities are pre-deceptive on their own.

I mean, abortion facilities don't often tell women that adoption is an option,
