There are two sides to every story.

But when one of those sides doesn't make it out of a situation, we are left to

hear the story from just one person. On December 13, 2001, a young mother pulled the trigger in a case

that saw two very different versions of events. So if you like your coffee hot, but your bones chilled, sit back and start

your day with a morning cup of murder. Tracy Ann Richter was born sometime in 1966 and raised

in the Chicago area. She was considered a smart young girl who had high test scores, good grades,

and seemed as though she had a promising

future ahead of her. In 1988, she married a plastic surgeon she met while in med school,

Dr. John Pittman III, and just a year later, the couple welcomed their son, Bert.

Unfortunately, her marriage wasn't quite as successful as the rest of her life.

And according to John, Tracy, who initially seemed to be interested in all the same things he was,

changed overnight once they were wed, almost as if she was pretending to be someone different

in order to secure their relationship.

There were also allegations of physical abuse on both sides.

Eventually, John hired a PI who turned around and gave him ample evidence that his wife was carrying on multiple affairs.

He also accused her of stealing his parents' credit cards and racking up

thousands of dollars of debt. She denied the claims and no charges were ever filed.
