and a special welcome to this week's Reporter's Roundtable at the end of a very busy week on several fronts.

At the White House for only the second time as president,

Joe Biden spoke to the nation last night about his second historic trip as president to a war zone,

first to Ukraine this week to Israel, and linked the two as deserving the full support of the United

States and saying that he was going to ask Congress

for $100 billion to help both countries defend their democracy. But at the Capitol, it's going

to be hard for Congress to respond because two weeks after ousting Kevin McCarthy, the House is

still without a speaker. Jim Jordan can't get the votes.

Republicans rejected a compromise plan to give the interim speaker a few more weeks, and so far,

it looks like nobody else wants the job. And at the courthouse, Donald Trump returned to the New York

courtroom, where he's accused of financial fraud.

And in Atlanta, former Trump attorney Sidney Powell upset the apple cart by pleading guilty to election fraud and could end up testifying against Donald Trump.

Whoa.

A busy week, as I said, and lots to talk about for today's panelists.
