related in some ways to Dead Man's Folly except with a very different detective.

We are covering Green Shaw's folly,

a Miss Marple short story.

If anyone has not listened to the Dead Man's Folly episode in which I went through the somewhat tortuous

publication history of that

the novel, there is a weird little connection between this short story and that novel because

Christie wrote a novella version of Dead Man's Folly

that she was not able to sell, Novellas are hard to sell.

That Novella was supposed to fund a church-stained glass project at Christie's local church.

She was a very religious person.

She observed regularly, so she wanted to give back to her church.
